Investigators are hoping you can help solve an art gallery theft worth more than $12,000.
Halifax Regional Police were told on September 29th an oil painting dating as far back as the 1800s had been stolen from the Doyle Street gallery.
It’s estimated to be worth $12,500.
It’s about the size of a standard piece of paper (8″ X 11″), framed in gilded gold, and was created by Canadian painter Marc Aurele de Foy Suzor-Coté.
Investigators have now released photos of the artwork:

The suspect is described as a man with dark hair and a receding hairline.
He was wearing a blue tracksuit (hoodie and sweatpants), black and white sneakers, and what appears to be a black mask.
