An investigation is underway into a robbery at gunpoint in the city’s north end early Thursday morning.
Halifax Regional Police were called to the incident just after 1 a.m. near Russell and Isleville Streets.
They say a man got into a cab, pulled out the gun, and tried to rob the driver.
The suspect was arrested nearby in the 5600 block of Russell Street.
The investigation is continuing.
