You could get booted from your classes at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax if you’re not fully vaccinated in the new year.
SMU is out with its vaccine policy for the winter semester, which requires students to submit proof by January 7th.
To support the #SMUCommunity, students must upload proof of full COVID-19 vaccination by January 7, 2022. Students who have not provided proof, been granted an exemption, or submitted an attestation will be unenrolled from on-campus courses. https://t.co/nLsMoucKJ2 #smuFYI pic.twitter.com/z1ixr4eN41

If students are learning online and not visiting the school for any reason, they’ll have to fill out a remote learning exemption form.
Students who miss the deadline will be unenrolled from their in-person classes and provided a tuition refund.
