Thirty-three rinks in Nova Scotia are getting provincial funding for upgrades and repairs.
Nearly $1 million is being delivered through the Rink Revitalization Fund to curling clubs, arenas, and permanent outdoor public rinks.
Locally, the Dartmouth and Mayflower Curling Clubs and the Eastern Shore Recreation Commission will receive some cash.
Improvements can include score clocks, refrigeration upgrades, foundation repairs, and replacing rink board glass.
