Six people have been arrested in Hammonds Plains during a drug trafficking investigation.
Police say on January 13, the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and the RCMP Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home on Hammond Plains Road.
The RCMP seized a cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and cash.
Four men and two women were arrested at the scene. They’re facing charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine.
The arrested are: a 42-year-old man from Yarmouth, a 31-year-old man from Dartmouth, a 31-year-old man from Hammonds Plains, a 54-year-old from Hammonds Plains, a 27-year-old woman from Bear River and a 21-year-old woman from Halifax
They were all released and will appear in Halifax Provincial Court on March 8.
Halifax District RCMP and the Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency assisted the investigation.
