Lunenburg District RCMP say they were able to revive a 17 year old who was suffering from an opioid overdose on January 14.
Police say they responded to a call for a 17 year old boy who has collapsed at a home in Lunenburg County.
RCMP say an officer administered Naloxone to the youth before transferring care to paramedics on scene.
Police would like to remind everyone to call 911 if an overdose is suspected.
Common signs include, slow or absent breathing, cold clammy skin, severe sleepiness where the person cannot wake up, snoring or gurgling noises, pinpoint pupils and fingers or lips that are blue or grey.
