A man wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant for almost two months is now in custody after he was found in Ontario.
Michael Roland Sinton of Upper Brookside has been arrested, charged and returned to Nova Scotia after he was located by the Durham Regional Police last week.
In November, the RCMP responded to a report Sinton was making threats to harm a woman known to him and threats to harm himself, believing he had a firearm. He was reported to have driven into the woods in Nuttby on an ATV.

Police searches did not find Sinton, however they did lead to the arrest of two people for Obstruction of Justice and Accessory After the Fact for aiding him in avoiding arrest.
Sinton was returned to Nova Scotia by two RCMP officers on Sunday. He has been charged with over 30 charges related to intimate partner violence and other criminal code offences.
He appeared in Truro Provincial Court yesterday.
