Nova Scotia is investing $500,000 to install more electric vehicle chargers across the province.
This will be in addition to the $1.2 million coming federally.
Natural Resources and Renewables Minister Tory Rushton says having more community chargers will give people reliable options so they can use their electric vehicles anywhere in the province.
Clean Foundation will administer the funding and will seek proposals from organizations to install up to 250 level 2 electric vehicle chargers.
The chargers will be installed across the province in public areas and will support light-duty vehicles.
