A local nurse is in the ICU after a freak accident that left her pinned under her vehicle.
Mellisa Martin is a nurse and a busy mother of 4. She supports her family so her husband can stay home and take care of their special needs children. She is getting better, but is still in the ICU.
An update on the GoFundMe page reads in part, ‘While Melissa is still in the ICU, she no longer has a breathing tube and is now breathing on her own. While she still has a long road of recovery ahead, she is taking one day at a time.’
