A 35-year-old man is facing a long list of charges after a violent home invasion in Beaver Bank.
The Mounties were called to a residence on Susan Drive at around 11:30 on Thursday night after two men forced their way in and fired off a gun.
Police say they assaulted the homeowner and her son and stole money from them. An animal was also struck before the suspects took off in a car.
The Mounties say one of the victims was taken to hospital, but there were no serious injuries.
