Halifax is getting hit with another disruptive storm.
The wind and rain warnings have ended in the city but a flash freeze warning remains in place.
We’ll see a switch to flurries or ice pellets during the afternoon when freezing temperatures are set to settle in.
The forecaster warns that could make things icy as water and slush freeze.
Power Outages
Nova Scotia Power is reporting about 7,000 customers are without power as of 7:30 p.m.
Nova Scotia Power’s storm lead Sean Borden says teams are in position across the province, so they are ready to respond as quickly and safely as possible.
It’s nothing new for crews, as this is our seventh storm in seven weeks.
As high winds and rain continue across the province, please keep our information close and follow along for updates. There’s a risk of flash freezing as temperatures drop throughout the day. #NSstorm
