A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with two bank robberies in Dartmouth and Halifax on Monday.
The first occurred at the CIBC on Barrington Street at around 1.15 p.m. The second took place at the TD Bank on Portland Street at around 6 p.m.
Police say in both cases, the suspect demanded money and ran away once getting the cash.
No one was hurt in either incident.
The teen was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. on Albro Lake Road.
He’s scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Youth Court at a later date on robbery charges.
