Our wallets are taking another hit at the gas pumps in Halifax.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board invoked its interrupter clause at midnight on Monday.
It said the adjustment was necessary “due to significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and oil.”
The minimum price of regular self-serve gas is up 11 cents per litre to $1.86.
Diesel now sits at nearly $2.00, jumping 10 cents per litre.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine is fueling the latest spike in prices.
