After 99 days the Major League Baseball lockout is over.
Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association have reached an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement Thursday, making way for the 2022 regular season to start on April 7th.
After the MLBPA approved the deal by a 26-12 vote, the owners ratified it Thursday night with a unanimous 30-0 vote, officially bringing the three-month lockout to a close.
All 162 games will be played, for more click here.
April 7th by the way, is the 45th anniversary of the Toronto Blue Jays very first game on that snowy day at Exhibition Stadium in Toronto.
It’s great to see that “The Boys of Summer” will be back.
Go Jays Go!
