The price of diesel has jumped again.
The NSUARB used its price interrupter to increase the cost of diesel 10 cents a litre Saturday morning.
It’s now sitting between $1.84, in Halifax, and $1.88.3, in Cape Breton.
Gas prices didn’t change.
Price of diesel changing again
The NSUARB is using its price interrupter to change the price of diesel once again.
Officials say price of gas will not change when they adjust diesel prices at midnight.
It will mark the fifth time this month the provincial regulator has used its power to change the price of fuel outside the regular weekly change.
Diesel fell 8 cents after the regular weekly price adjustment Friday morning.
It currently costs between $1.74.0, in Halifax, and $1.78.2, in Cape Breton.
Fuel prices have been on a rollercoaster as Russia is battered by sanctions for its ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
Prices dropped last week when OPEC signaled a boost in production in an attempt to stabilize the price of fuel.
