A messy system is getting ready to bring heavy rain and strong winds to Nova Scotia.
Environment Canada is out with a special weather statement predicting up to 60 mm will fall on Tuesday.
Winds could gust up to 90 km per hour.
The system is expected to wind down overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
Wind warnings are currently in effect for southwestern regions.
Environment Canada recommends keeping a close watch on the forecast as it says rainfall warnings could be issued too.
