Diesel prices are taking another swing at the pumps in Nova Scotia on Wednesday.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced the interrupter clause will be invoked to adjust the price at midnight.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” the news release says.
That means the price will change by at least six cents per litre. The board did not say if the new price would be higher or lower.
The clause was just used at midnight with Nova Scotians waking up on Wednesday to see diesel prices had jumped about six cents.
They now cost between $2.07 and $2.12 per litre.
The price of gasoline will not be impacted.
