The province’s gas regulator says gas prices will be changing overnight.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has issued a release to announce the interrupter clause will be invoked at midnight.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of gasoline,” a news release says. “The price of diesel oil is NOT affected by this interruption.”
The interrupter clause is invoked to change pump prices by at least six cents per litre.
Reports indicate it will be going up.
Gas currently sits at between $1.98 to two dollars per litre, depending on where you live in Nova Scotia.
Diesel remains at $2.45 or more per litre.
