Gear up for another change at the fuel pumps in Nova Scotia on Tuesday.
The province’s gas regulator has announced it’s invoking the interrupter clause at midnight to change the price of diesel.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board brings in the clause to change prices by at least six cents per litre.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” the news release says.
Reports indicate diesel prices will drop, although the regulator hasn’t said if the new price would be higher or lower.
Currently, diesel sits at $2.45 or more per litre.
The price of gasoline will not be impacted by the interruption.
Regular went up about 10 cents on Tuesday and is now selling between $2.08 and $2.12 per litre in our province.
