You’re going to want to bring your potted plants inside and cover your gardens as chilly weather gets ready to settle into our province overnight.
Environment Canada is out with a frost advisory for the entire province.
It predicts the temperature will range between zero to 6 degrees overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday morning.
The national weather forecast says the cool temperatures could bring patchy frost to the region.
“Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas,” the advisory recommends.
Environment Canada says it issues frost advisories when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
