Canada soccer has called off an international match with Iran.
It was scheduled to take place in Vancouver on June 5th as part of the Men’s National Team preparations for the Fifa World Cup.

The move follows criticism from families of the victims of a commercial airliner which was shot down by the Iranian military two years ago.
Our Prime Minister was also among the voices who spoke out saying he didn’t think the exhibition game was a good idea.
Canada Soccer did not provide a reason for the cancellation.
