Most people are still pretty happy with Nova Scotia’s Progressive Conservative government.
A new poll by Narrative Research shows, 60 per cent of Bluenosers are satisfied with the overall performance of Tim Houston’s team.
That number dipped seven points from February.
If an election was held today, 42 per cent would vote for the PCs, 27 for the Liberals and 25 for the NDP.
Four per cent would vote Green.
When asked who they would prefer as Premier, Tim Houston remains the preferred choice of one-third (34%, compared with 39% in February 2022).
The next leader of the Liberal Party is preferred by 17% (unchanged), while preference for the next leader of the NDP stands at 16% (compared with 13%).
Few prefer either the new Green Party leader Anthony Edmonds (5%), or Jonathan Dean of the Atlantica Party (2%). Houston is most preferred across the province, albeit the next leader of the Liberal party is a close second in Cape Breton.
