A 22-year-old man has been charged with child pornography offences after a search in Dartmouth on Thursday.
Halifax Regional Police say investigators with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit had received a tip about an address where a man had obtained and was sharing pornographic material of children under the age of 16 online.
Several electronic devices were seized for forensic analysis.
Brennan Oake has been charged with luring a person under the age of 16, providing sexually explicit material to a child, publication of an intimate image without consent, uttering threats, distribution of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
He’s set to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
