Get ready for a swing in the price of diesel.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced it’s invoking the interrupter clause to at midnight.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” a news release says.
The interrupter clause is used to adjust pump prices by at least six cents per litre. Reports suggest it’s going up.
The price of gas will not be impacted.
Diesel saw an increase of just over three cents on Friday due to the weekly price adjustment and currently sits at over $2.00 a litre.
