Halifax Regional Police have charged a 25-year-old man with a sexual assault near a bus shelter two years ago.
The incident took place close to the bus stop on Titus Street, between Evans and Main Avenues, on the evening of June 18th, 2020.
Police say the man sexually assaulted a woman he didn’t know.
After asking the public for help, investigators were able to identify the suspect.
They arrested the man this May.
Ram Gurung is set to appear in Halifax Provincial Court at a later date to face one count of sexual assault.
