The QEII is sounding the alarm over wait times in its emergency room.
Public Health announced on Twitter on Monday that the emergency department is seeing “extremely high patient volumes and limited capacity.”

They’re asking you to not wait with patients heading to the ER unless it’s essential to their care.
“You may check-in with the patient as needed but if it is essential to patient care that you stay in the waiting room, please reserve seats for patients in need of emergency care,” the Tweet says.
Patients, as always, will be seen based on their triage level.
