Halifax Regional Police say an investigation is underway after a man was stabbed by a stranger while on a trail in Clayton Park.
Officers were called to the Mainland Linear Trail near Westridge Drive just before noon.
They say the man was hurt by another man who wielded an “edged” weapon. The injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
The suspect was last seen walking down the path toward Main Avenue.
He’s described as white, in his mid to late 20s, 5’8″ tall, with short black hair. He was wearing all black clothing.
