Nova Scotians flocked to beaches, lakes and splash parks over the weekend to get relief from the heat.
A heat warning has been in effect for several days and continues today.
Yesterday at the airport in Halifax the temperature hit 30.6 breaking the old record of 29.4 set in 1975.
A burn ban also continues throughout the province.
Temperatures are expected to cool off a bit tomorrow.
