The Halifax Mooseheads have received a pair of draft picks from Gatineau in exchange for forward Bobby Orr.
Moose General Manager Cam Russell created some room amongst a crowded forward group at training camp by sending the NHL Carolina Hurricanes prospect to the Olympiques for a second round pick in the 2024 QMJHL Entry Draft and a fifth round choice in 2023.
The 19-year-old scored 21 goals and added 23 assists for 44 points in 63 games last season.
Orr finishes his Mooseheads career with 76 points in 104 games after being acquired from the Saint John Sea Dogs in the 2020 offseason.
