I was camping over the weekend and the sky was well lit with stars.
Some of those stars were actually planets, but I didn’t realize that until I broke out my skyview app on my phone which tells me exactly what I’m looking at.
Jupiter was the brightest, and visible all night while Saturn sets around 2am. Mars rises in the east around 10pm and is a bright red these days.
