Halifax Regional Police are investigating a sexual assault involving a teenager on a trail in Clayton Park.
Police were told a stranger came up to a 15-year-old boy, threatened him, and touched him at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday on the Mainland Commons trail near Westridge Drive.
“The youth left the area and reported the incident to a trusted adult,” police say.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s or 60s, approximately 5’6” tall with a medium build, wrinkled face, and short grey hair.
He was wearing an orange long-sleeve waffle-knit shirt, oversized grey jeans, and black slip-on shoes with no laces.
