Buckle up for another swing in diesel prices.
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board has announced it will bring in the interrupter clause at midnight.
“This change is necessary due to significant shifts in the market price of diesel oil,” a news release says.
The gas regulator did not say in which direction prices will swing. Reports indicate it could go up by almost 14 cents per litre.
In the last week, Diesel has climbed nearly 27 cents. It’s currently selling for around $2.15 depending on where you fill up.
The price of gas will not be impacted. Most Nova Scotians woke up to an increase of eight cents per litre for gas on Friday with the regular weekly adjustment.
It’s currently selling for $1.65 in most areas.
