On “Kids Day” Sunday at the Halifax Mooseheads game, Chase Leslie of Timberlea joined me as the Junior Announcer!
Chase, who’s 13 years old, joined me at ice level in the announcer booth/penalty box area and introduced the Mooseheads starting lineup and Timbit players.
There were 7,648 fans in the stands who gave Chase a big round of applause, check out the video below:

He did an awesome job!
I took Chase and his dad Donni around to show them some of the behind the scenes pregame rituals in Moose Country, he got to say hello to the Mooseheads doing their pregame workouts and knew them all by name!
Chase brought the Mooseheads some good luck as they blanked the Saint John Sea Dogs 7-0 in Moose Country with Jordan Dumais getting a hat-trick and Mathis Rousseau with the shutout for 1st Star for the Herd!
Chase was also the Toronto Blue Jays Junior Announcer back in the summer, for more on that adventure click HERE.
Great job kid!
