A ten-game suspension for Halifax Mooseheads forward Zach L’Heureux.
The QMJHL announced the decision after the 19-year old was suspended indefinitely following an altercation with a fan in Gatineau.
A video of the incident surfaced, where it shows L’Heureux allegedly jabbing at a fan with his stick.
The league says L’Heureux’s gesture can’t be tolerated, and noted his lengthy history of suspensions.
The Director of Player Safety talked to L’Heureux and the team before making the decision.
He’ll be eligible to return on March 9th.
