It was a pretty historic day in Moose Country on the weekend.
Halifax beat Charlottetown 10-5 to end the regular season Saturday with a record of 50, 11, 4 and 3, the second time in franchise history to reach 50 wins.
That's a wrap on the season and our 50th win!
10-5 victory vs Charlottetown. What a day.

A couple of more highlights: Jordan Dumais made Mooseheads history with a new franchise record for most points in a season at 140, beating the old record of 137 set in 1999-2000 by Ramzi Abid. Moosemaniacs let out a LOUD cheer when Jordan made history.
I asked him after the game what he thought of his feat and he replied “It’s pretty cool.” He’s a Columbus Blue Jackets NHL draft pick.

Jordan also became the first Mooseheads player to claim the QMJHL scoring title with those 140 points ahead of Moose teammates Josh Lawrence with 119 and Alex Doucet with 115.
Also, Josh scored a hat-trick for 50 goals on the season!
Bring on the QMJHL playoffs Friday for a Battle of Nova Scotia against Cape Breton, the first one since 2008, when Jakub Voracek and Hammonds Plains native Brad Marchand wore Mooseheads jerseys.
