Tuesday night the Halifax Mooseheads hosted and treated the TASA Minor Hockey kids and their families who lost their belongings in the recent forest fire in Tantallon.
They gathered at the Mooseheads practice facility at the RBC Centre in Burnside where the players were treated pizza, time with some of the Mooseheads players, were given lots of merchandise and goodies and a trip to Pro Hockey Life on the Mooseheads’ bus to get brand new gear!
Former Halifax Mooseheads Captain Justin Barron (in black t-shirt below) now with the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens was there to offer his words of support.

My former next door Timberlea neighbour Molly Deveau and her son Carter lost everything in the wildfire. Molly says: “I have never witnessed, let alone been a recipient of, such a caring and kind organization. I fill with tears and the biggest smile as this was such an amazing night for the kids, one which I know they will never forget!”
