The forecast is calling for rain this weekend but there are still lots of awesome events happening in and around the city, including the Halifax Pride Parade on Sunday!
Trunk 7 Music Festival
Trunk 7 Music Festival is happening rain or shine this weekend. Head over to the Porters Lake Superstore at 5240 Highway 7 for Eastern Shore’s most exciting music festival taking place Friday and Saturday featuring lots of local artists! You can view the full line up here.
There will be lots of food vendors, drinks, chairs and tables all under big tents. You can even bring your own foldup chair!

Race Weekend at Atlantic Motorsport Park
This weekend marks the return of National Superbike racing to Nova Scotia.
Just outside the city you can watch round 3 of the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship which takes place this weekend at the Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie.
The Atlantic race weekend is the first full doubleheader round of the 2023 season, meaning a full schedule of racing on both Saturday and Sunday.

Attend the Pride Parade
Halifax Pride has filled July with events, parties and info sessions since the 1980s. check out the Halifax Pride Calender for up coming events!
This year’s parade will begin at 2:00PM on Sunday, July 23rd, 203.
The parade route begins at the corner of Robie Street and Cogswell Road, then will travel along Robie Street north bound, turning right at the intersection of Robie and Cunard, then travel along Cunard to the roundabout turning right onto North Park Street. Then along North Park Street to the next roundabout the parade will then exit onto Trollope Street. Turning left on Bell Road. Then will travel southbound along Bell Road onto South Park Street, turning left onto Spring Garden Road and will continue on Spring Garden ending at Spring Garden/ Brunswick Street intersection.

The parade will go on rain or shine and will only be cancelled for extreme weather events.
Road closures will be in affect from 2pm – 4pm.
