Last week my wife and I were in Toronto for a family wedding and became tourists for a few days.
We took in our very first Toronto Blue Jays game!
Ever since the Jays came to be in 1977, it was always on my “Bucket List” to make it to a game.

The Toronto Maple Leafs new GM Brad Treliving was in our box! I showed him my Mooseheads Championship tattoo on my leg, I said “I’m saving my other leg for a Leafs Championship tattoo” he said “Deal!”

We also crossed paths with Jays play-by-play announcer Dan Shulman leaving the TV broadcast booth. He said he was at a Halifax Mooseheads game once when his son lived in Halifax. I recall that night thinking how cool it was he was in the crowd in Moose Country.

Both Brad and Dan were super nice guys.

It was Tuesday Night Loonie Hot Dog Night, they sold 69,147 dogs!
The Jays ended up beating the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1.

During the 7th Inning Stretch they still play this Jays classic at the games:
It was a perfect script for a “Bucket List Night.”
Go Jays Go!
