You might see more police cruisers on roads this Thanksgiving.
RCMP say they’ll increase traffic enforcement over the long weekend as part of Operation Impact.
It’s to help get impaired and distracted drivers off the roads.
Police say there will be checkpoints set up at various locations.
They say there tends to be an increase in traffic during long weekends, and they want everyone to arrive safely to Thanksgiving celebrations.
