Every year, Halifax artists display their themed works around the city well into the evening, ending at midnight.
2023 brought in many works from artists all over Canada, including my personal favourite; Qiaqsutuq, a commentary on the impact of climate change in the Arctic.
You could through the string tunnel at the Leave a Mark installation by the Dalhousie Architecture Students, take a meditative stroll through the 2-in-1 experience that is Meander/Drift, or write a wish to a shooting start at the Cadence display.
If you missed your chance to check out any of the displays, you can see more of what the Halifax art scene has to offer by visiting the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia which is free for Nova Scotians until January 14th.
