On Sunday the Halifax Mooseheads won their eighth straight game and blanked the Cape Breton Eagles 4-0 here in Moose Country on “Kids Day.”
The Herd’s Jordan Dumais the 1st Star with three assists to become the franchises new all time points leader over Brandon Benedict’s 303 set 20 years ago between 1998 and 2003 when Brandon played in Moose Country.

Brandon did the record it 343 games, Jordan in 183, a pretty impressive pace!

The torch was passed after the game when Brandon gave Jordan the game puck in the Moose dressing room.

Jordan will continue to shatter that record as the season is only half way through.
