Members of the Halifax Mooseheads are mourning the loss of one of their former players.
According to the team’s social media accounts, Jiri Suchy lost his life in a recent car accident.
He was 36.
Suchy was a defenceman with the Mooseheads and played 118 games between 2005 and 2007.
After his two years here, he returned to the Czech Republic where he continued is hockey career.
It is with heavy hearts that we have learned of the passing of Jiri Suchy 🇨🇿 who tragically lost his life in a recent car accident.
