With the advancements in technology as of late comes new solutions to old problems.
I have always wanted to see a drone show. Fireworks are a hot topic to debate, they can be triggering for people with PTSD especially where we live in a Military port city, animals are sensitive to the sounds, they aren’t great for the environment, and sometimes they don’t even go off!
Drone shows are environmentally friendly, customizable, and are more likely to go off without a hitch so long as the wind isn’t too strong.
What surprises me the most is that of all events, it’s the Wharf Rat Rally annual motorcycle enthusiast meet in Digby that is hosting this event. When I think motorcycles, I think exhaust and rumbling, biker dudes with big beards, that sort of stuff.
It’s a very big moment for Nova Scotia and our evolution towards innovative technology, I would love to see this sort of event unfold at Natal Day fest. What do you think?
