It’s Juno party time in Halifax as the 53rd Junos begin today.
The other day on Tuesday I was walking around after the Hot Country Hangout with Robyn Otolini and you could start to feel the buzz in the air.
The trucks were busy setting up the gear outside of the Scotiabank Centre.

Friend of Hot Country 1035 Josh Ross will make his Juno performance debut Sunday night!
The city will be rockin’ with JUNOfest with 100 artists entertaining at ten venues!
Canada’s biggest night in music is on CBC Sunday night with the show hosted by Nelly Furtado.
This is the first time our city has hosted the Juno awards since 2006 when Pamela Anderson hosted.
The Juno Block party starts tonight starring Enfield’s Classified, David Myles, Jrdn and more that’s sold out.
Friday night Talk leads the bill and on Saturday it’s “Country Night” starring our friends The James Barker Band, Tyler Joe Miller, Cape Breton’s Dave Sampson, Sacha and more at the Foundation Lot at 1549 Lower Water Street on the Halifax waterfront.
Congrats to our Hot Country Block Party Winner: Ryan Browning from Mineville who’ll take in the show for free!
