The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League “second season” starts this coming weekend as the opening round matchups are set!
The Maritime teams picture looks like this:
The Halifax Mooseheads will face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan
The Cape Breton Eagles will take on Rimouski.
The Charlottetown Islanders are in tough, playing the first place overall team in the QMJHL from the regular season, the Baie-Comeau Drakar.
The Moncton Wildcats will face-off with Chicoutimi while the Saint John Sea Dogs got in on the very last day of the season and will play Drummondville.
The Quebec Remparts, last year’s Q League champions and Memorial Cup winner, did not make the playoffs this season with the Val d’Or Foreurs finishing last overall.
The Mooseheads and the Acadie-Bathurst Titan start here in Moose Country this Friday and Saturday nights with 7pm puck drops.
Its time to turn it up a notch for some playoff hockey Moose Country!
