Congrats to former Halifax Mooseheads star Nathan MacKinnon of Cole Harbour on winning two NHL Awards last night in Vegas!
Nathan first won the Ted Lindsay Award for most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL’s Player Association.
Nate was later awarded by NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman the Hart Trophy. Bettman said ” I hope you have another speech ready.”
The Hart is awarded to the NHL’s Most Valuable Player! Nathan had 140 points with the Colorado Avalanche this past season.
The Mackinnon family was there for the special night including Nathan’s girlfriend Charlotte.
