A Scotch Village man has been charged with impaired driving after a crash in Mount Uniacke.
The 75-year-old was arrested after he refused to give a breath sample following the collision Thursday morning.
RCMP say he was driving a truck, and allegedly rear-ended another car on Highway 1, pushing it into oncoming traffic.
That caused a head-on collision with another car.
Multiple people were hurt, a 72-year-old woman in the car that was rear-ended suffered life-threatening injuries.
A passenger in the truck had serious injuries, three others sustained minor injuries.
