Amy AKA “Amy Lou” was INCREDIBLE during the wildfires and aftermath in helping people and their animals.
Pulled off some wild rescues and saved approximately 300 animals and helped find closure for the grieving families of those who couldn’t be saved.
Amy continues to help families impacted by the fires. Through her facebook group that grew to over 21,000 members, Amy continues to help reunite families with their lost pets, renaming the group HRM Lost and Found Pets (Formerly Tantallon Wildfire Lost Pets).
Always focussed on helping others, now it’s Amy’s family who could use the help.
Following illness, Amy’s mother passed away, so this now means she has two households to try to maintain caring for her father and son while still trying to make time for family, all while going to University.
