“That’s absolutely unacceptable”
Those were the words that Scotty McCreery had for a man who allegedly hit a woman at his Colorado State Fair show a couple weekends ago. In a video shared on social media, McCreery is seen stopping his show early in its set to address someone in the crowd by saying “hey hey hey hey hey right here, that’s a lady you just hit sir! Concert goers immediately have their attention drawn to the front of the stage to look for the perpetrator, some already stating “get him out!” “Absolutely not, who just hit the lady?!” McCreery goes on to say. “Is she ok, get the heck out of here, on god’s green earth at a Scotty McCreery show!” Police and security quickly showed up and delt with the situation.
Suspect was detained
According to USA Today, police detained and interviewed the suspect the night of the incident but did not arrest him. Local authorities will handle any charges against the accused, whose name has not been released. As for the victim, she declined to be taken to hospital after the occurrence.
