Thanks to Shoghi Taha of the Radio and Television Journalism Program and his classmates at NSCC in Dartmouth for the interview yesterday.
We chatted about my radio and hockey announcer careers, what it’s like being the Halifax Mooseheads Announcer, plus a chat about “The Ultimate Hockey Joke Book, Laugh Your Faceoff!”

I was once in their shoes starting out in high school at CMHS the high school radio station that was a part of the Audio-Visual program offered at Memorial High in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton.

This course helped me get hired in Grade 12 at CJCB/CKPE-FM, Sydney in 1984.

The technology was a lot different back then.

So, it always feels good to take the time to give back and tell the upcoming radio, TV and journalists about some of my experiences over the last forty years in this business that I love.
Dream BIG, folks!
